Abstract The converging development of different technologies brings the understanding of the brain, both in healthy and pathological condition, further than ever before. The confluence of wearable technologies, neurotechnologies, augmented and virtual reality, serious gaming, data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence are game-changing how we study brain functionality. , let's use it to interact with the environment and treat the mental and the neurological. disease. The conference will deal with the combination of neurotechnologies, machine learning and artificial intelligence in different digital brain health applications developed by Starlab Neuroscience. Digital markers of brain function will lead in the near future to improved diagnostics, drug discovery, risk analysis and interactivity. We will show the methodologies developed for: stratified evaluation of classifier performance under operational conditions for Parkinson's risk assessment, differential diagnosis of ADHD based on Reservoir Computing and novel prediction of treatment outcome in Coma patients . I'll go over the technical challenges we faced in developing these applications, but also some ideas that influence the applicability of pure academic data science in the real world.
