The symposium "(Un) endliche Lebenslust" will begin on the evening of 22 November by the conference "Prevention of suicide in the elderly by Professor Dr. Jürgen Howe (Director of the Gerontopsychology Department of the Institute of Psychology of the Technical University of Braunschweig).
After a brief musical introduction by the "Klouschterband" of the retirement home "Beim Klouschter", He will present the principles of suicide prevention based on examples. It will describe the differences between motivations for adolescents, adults and older people to commit suicidal acts and will address the particular issue of dependent elderly people in care homes.
The evening will end with a drink of friendship.
