Reach clp 2019 annual conference – new european policies and arising challenges for companies
Reach & CLP Follow
For its new edition, the REACH&CLP annual conference will review the new European legislation published the past months and the new obligations that this entails for companies. To do this, the REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg will be accompanied by external speakers from the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and the Brussels Poison Centre.
During the event, attention will be focused on the key topics of the moment, such as:
- the new regulation on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and obligations for companies;
- the Waste Framework Directive and the ECHA’s SCIP database;
- the Annex VIII CLP and the declaration of dangerous mixtures in Luxembourg;
- the link between REACH and the OSH legislation with the derivation of workplace limit values by the ECHA’s RAC;
- the latest developments of the AskREACH project and the launch of the Scan4Chem mobile application.
As in previous events, the participants will also have the opportunity to ask all the questions they have to the attending experts.
Prior to the conference, as usual, you are invited to a networking lunch where you can discuss in a relaxed atmosphere with the team of the REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg, the speakers and the other participants.
