On Thursday 25 June, the LBAN is organizing, in collaboration with the Lux Future Lab & BGL, a pitching event for startups of our network.
It could be a good opportunity for you to submit and present your pitch and business ideas to the entire community of about 80 individual investors and Business Angels.
What is the BAs mainly looking for?
Startups from the greater region, with an MVP, traction, valuation between € 500k and € 10m, and funding between € 100k and € 2m.

How is the information shared within the network and community?
As soon as the entrepreneur submits his/her application, each of our Business Angels have complete access to it via our Gust platform at any time.
Also, our members come from different backgrounds and the main language we use is English. We have over 17 different nationalities amongst our members.
How are the startups selected?
We have an investment committee made up of our BAs and VCs. They study each deal and select the most promising ones for the pitching events. The deals that are not selected remain in the deal-flow and remain accessible for 3 to 4 months to our community before being archived.
How are the startups contacted?
Each startup is invited and contacted individually and given support with details on the next steps to prepare for the pitching event.
Ideally, we like to have 4-5 entrepreneurs and startups presenting. This leaves investors enough time to consider, read and think beforehand about the opportunities presented to them.
How is an LBAN evening structured?
Introduction and next events: LBAN (5’)
Introduction of BGL BNP Paribas Innovation / LFL (5’-10’)
Presentation of Petit Bambou (5’-10’)
4 pitches: 10 ’presentation + 5’ Q&A
Preparation and organization of the online events and pitching.
LBAN takes care of everything while also promoting on its social networks, sending newsletters and maintaining contact with its community.
Investment
If one of the BAs becomes interested in a startup, then they will contact them directly.
LBAN is not remunerated on this investment. In attachment, I will send you a screenshot of our investments made in 2019.
In addition to this connection, we offer various kinds of support such as a Shareholder agreement specific to Luxembourg laws (03/2020), assessment tools, term sheets, etc.…
