COMPLETE LARGE-SCALE TESTS WITH ANONYMOUS DATA

How do you ensure the privacy of citizens, while providing scientists with meaningful data to quickly identify disease clusters?
Didier Hoareau (CEO & Co-founder, Keexle - OnePrivacy) and Chloé Lellinger (DPO, LISER) will present Keexle ZeroTrack, a tool built by the Luxembourg startup OnePrivacy, in collaboration with LISER & the Luxembourgish Covid-19 Task Force to complete the strategy large-scale testing. The tool provides early identification of disease clusters, based on symptom reports by citizens, and leverages Keexle's end-to-end encryption technology which guarantees complete data anonymity.

The risk of ransomware has increased during the COVID-19 crisis due to the shift to remote working. The consequences can be devastating.
Ziya Alper Genç (SnT, University of Luxembourg) will present his research work, where he investigated the vulnerabilities of the most advanced cryptographic ransomware, but also of antivirus programs. Based on this analysis, Ziya proposed and tested strategies to mitigate attacks against hundreds of real-world ransomware samples. The presentation will end with the ethical questions that can be raised by the dual use of this research.

- We will wear a mask on arrival and during traffic on the premises

- We will be free to bring our own food or drink from home and eat it while sitting. Unfortunately, security guidelines do not allow us to serve food or drinks on site.
