RAIF and other alternative fund structures: new opportunities in Luxembourg (part 1 of 2)

Goals :
This training session aims to provide participants with a basic knowledge of the main characteristics of the new type of Luxembourg alternative investment fund, the reserved alternative investment fund (called RAIF), and the new fund labels that have been adopted. introduced at European level, being European venture capital funds (called EuVECA), European social entrepreneurship funds (called EuSEF) as well as European long-term investment funds (called ELTIF).
We will examine the main legal and regulatory requirements and aspects for the establishment and launch of fund structures in Luxembourg benefiting from the new labels as well as the new structuring options that could be considered with the expected establishment of the RAIF.
The in-depth training will also highlight the interactions between the new labels and the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD).
