The WATER FUTURES conference will be the 4th event of the Science: next program designed by the Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg.
The conference will address the challenges and risks of climate change, relating to dangers such as an increased risk of drought or a decrease in water quality. By providing completely new information for the detection and interpretation of the hydrological cycle, innovative solutions offer perspectives that we will have the chance to discover with our two protagonists.
The event, under Covid Check, will be held in English at Forum Campus Geesseknäppchen in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses the Hereditary Grand Duke and Hereditary Grand Duchess, Prince Guillaume and Princess Stéphanie.
The public will be able to participate in the conference in person by pre-registering via email or watch the live stream, all for free!
WATER FUTURES will bring together Mara Manieri, former participant in the National Jonk Fuerscher Competition, and Dr Laurent Pfister, head of the “Environmental sensing and modeling” (ENVISION) research unit at LIST, on the same subject: water.
