The energy transition raises questions: while the European authorities proposed, through a new taxonomy, to consider nuclear energy and natural gas as sustainable transition energies, Luxembourg was opposed to this vision. Against France on nuclear energy and against Germany on natural gas, Luxembourg judged these energies to be neither responsible nor environmentally friendly. Since the conflict in Ukraine has accentuated the rise in energy prices, it is urgent to find alternatives. However, efforts to diversify the economy and the continued development of the digital economy in Luxembourg are energy intensive. What prospects and what energy(s) should be used for our companies?
