The training cycle organized by Legitech and the University of Lorraine and the Faculty of Law, Economics and Administration of Metz aims to cover all legal news in the main areas of civil law, business law and public law.

Favoring a practical and interactive approach, the two-hour modules offered in a hybrid format involve university specialists and/or recognized practitioners in these different fields. The training is validated as continuing education for lawyers.

PRESENTATION of the training

Security law was reformed by the ordinance of September 15, 2021, which entered into force on January 1, 2022. In terms of personal security, the provisions relating to suretyship have been largely clarified and unified. In terms of collateral, a few additions have come to ratify the practice (assignment of debt or sum of money as security) and the provisions relating to movable and immovable privileges have been brought up to date. The training aims to give a synthetic presentation of all these changes.
