Introduced in 1992, the offense of misuse of corporate assets is celebrating its 30th birthday this year. It sanctions managers who misuse the assets or credit of the company they manage. What is it allowed to do and what are the limits not to exceed? What are the risks that the manager can take on behalf of the company without incurring criminal liability?
