The British Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Allen & Overy Luxembourg are pleased to invite you to an evening legal forum: "Upcoming implementation of the EU Whistleblowing Directive – What do Luxembourg-based companies need to prepare for?" This will take place on Wednesday 12 October at 17:15 at Allen & Overy, 5 Av. John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg.
As the Luxembourg implementation of the EU Whistleblowing Directive approaches, decision-makers of Luxembourg-based companies need to know the impact that the Luxembourg whistleblowing law will have on their organisations and the measures they shall put in place in order to comply with the upcoming legal requirements.
Indeed, the Luxembourg bill implementing the Whistleblowing Directive provides for a certain number of processes/procedures that Luxembourg employers will need to implement, including appropriate reporting channels for receiving and handling complaints. Other measures may not be legally required but nevertheless are strongly recommended in order to manage the legal, financial and reputational risks related to whistleblowing.
During this seminar, legal experts from ALLEN & OVERY will guide you through the main aspects of the Luxembourg draft whistleblowing legislation and will share their practical recommendations from an employment law, data protection and general litigation perspective.
Guest Speakers:
• Christophe Ernzen, Counsel (Employment law)
• Clara Duc, Associate (Employment law)
• Lena Wanlin, Associate (Litigation)
• Paul Wagner, Associate (Data Protection)
