The climate emergency and the current energy crisis pose great challenges for businesses. “Klimapakt fir Betriber”, a government initiative managed by Luxinnovation and Klima-Agence, aims to support companies in decarbonization and ecological transition through a structured and coordinated approach. The launch conference will introduce companies to the main objectives as well as the current operational and financial measures that they can implement and benefit from.
The Ministry of Energy and Spatial Planning, the Ministry of the Economy, the General Directorate for the Middle Classes and the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development, together with Klima-Agence and Luxinnovation, agreed to engage in a common approach to ensure that companies are supported in a coherent way by the various state and parastatal actors who work towards the common objective of reducing the carbon footprint of businesses and the economy.
During the launch conference, the Minister for the Middle Classes, Lex Delles, the Minister for the Economy, Franz Fayot, the Minister for Energy and Regional Planning, Claude Turmes and the Minister for the Environment , Climate and Sustainable Development, Joëlle Welfring, will speak about the importance of “Klimapakt fir Betriber” and will specify the government's current commitments.
The second part of the conference will be devoted to thematic workshops and will offer a detailed overview of the concrete steps available to companies to meet climate and energy challenges. Also on the program: what aid is available and the eligibility conditions, or how to benefit from it.
