Created in 2019 with the purpose to support and accelerate the digital transformation of the manufacturing sector in Luxembourg, the L-DIH is a key element of the national digital strategy. Since then, it has established itself as a key partner for industrial players in the field digital transformation, industry 4.0/5.0-related technologies and innovation.
One of its key missions is to facilitate contacts between industrial companies with digitalisation needs and service providers that can support them on their digitalisation journey. The DIH Marketplace lists players with a wide range of skills, services and expertise.
Located in the heart of the Greater Region, Luxembourg is characterised by its constantly increasing number of cross-border collaborations. This motivated the L-DIH to become a European Digital Innovation Hub (E-DIH), which makes it possible for us to offer an even a wider range of pre-defined support services provided by the members of our newly formed L-DIH consortium: the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, Luxinnovation and the University of Luxembourg and Competence Centre.
This new strategic direction represents a huge opportunity to expand the reach of the Luxembourg manufacturing ecosystem composed of SMEs and large manufacturing companies, IT & OT providers, research and education institutions, and other strategic players, into the Greater Region.
