Public workshop at the Luxembourg City Museum.

After the Second World War, the Schueberfouer increasingly developed into a great popular festival. There were various booths with magicians, boxers, faster and faster rides, a goldfish to win and fries in a paper cone. In this workshop we want to illustrate with the help of photos what it was like on the Schueberfouer in the 1960s. What attractions and shows were there? What were the noises and smells? What did you eat? Together we want to remember it and discuss the differences today. Participants can also record their memories at the end. This workshop is organized as part of a doctoral thesis on the Schueberfouer at C²DH at the University of Luxembourg.

People who visited the Schueberfouer in the 1960s and want to share their memories are especially sought after.
