This two-part training cycle aims to give you the keys to continue to comply as best as possible with the implementation of the RGPD (General Data Protection Regulation) within your company. As a reminder, this regulation came into force on 28/05/2018. This first part is devoted to the deciphering of the basic principles and key concepts introduced by the RGPD.

Session 1: RGPD Fundamentals in the HR Context

1. Definitions (notions of 'personal data', 'processing', 'controller', 'processor', 'data protection officer', etc.)

What is personal data or data processing in the HR context?
Who is responsible for processing the personal data of employees? What about HR service providers (eg payroll manager, etc.)?
2. General principles (eg minimization principle, conservation limitation, etc.): how do they apply in the context of the employment relationship?
