Changing regulations
The impact of legal and regulatory developments on TA and distribution operations is paramount, and there is continuous movement in this area. Luxembourg has recently passed its law on distributed ledger technology (DLT). What does this mean − what tools are at a transfer agent’s disposal? What does state-of-the-art handling of AML/KYC look like? Are you up to speed regarding the new register of beneficial owners, and what role does communication play in your AML/KYC efforts? The impact of GDPR on TA operations will also be examined.
A separate session will look at the industry trends around costs, fees and charges.
