Deloitte Luxembourg is pleased to announce the annual flagship conference on “Financial Services Transfer Pricing: taking the new pulse of tax”.
The conference will provide an update on key international tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and regulatory developments relevant to the financial services sectors covering banking, asset management, insurance, and FinTech.
It will feature a panel discussion with the OECD on the status of their current work on remodelling the international tax framework (in particular, the ongoing implementation of the BEPS initiative) and future work by the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework on addressing tax challenges faced by the digitalisation of the economy.
We will discuss the key regulatory developments in Europe and their impact on the tax dimension (especially tax governance) with the Luxembourg financial regulator, CSSF, while also exploring the priorities for in-house professionals (including operational transfer pricing and the digitalisation of the tax function) with a cross-industry panel of clients.
We will take the pulse of global tax, analysing sector developments relevant to the banking, asset management, and insurance space (e.g. on the tax challenges related to the IBOR transition and banking regulation as well as the ongoing BEPS impact on existing transfer pricing models).
Lastly, we will cover the area of tax controversy via a panel discussion with tax authorities focusing on the development of the tax audit environment, dispute resolution options, and digitalisation of tax administrations.
