It's hard to ignore the word 'S' these days. We are inundated with information, stories, threats and cheers for anything that is "sustainable" - business models, investment, consumption, growth, leadership, and so on. We must respond to a new demand for a triple bottom line - People, Planet AND Profit (the UN would add peace and prosperity). It can be difficult to understand what this really means and how it should be applied. ILA offers 3 courses designed to address the fundamentals of sustainability and provide an understanding of the tools and frameworks available for independent directors to become familiar with developments in the field, to recognize best practices through case studies and modeling - and ask questions to the right questions.
Objectives of the program
